Last week the class was excited to meet their buddies.
This year we have two buddy classes- Mrs. Bennett's girls in 9-B and Mrs. Sawnson's Fifth Grade boys.
On Monday, we met with the girls in 9-B. Buddies were matched by finding rhyming puzzle pieces.
The Ninth Age girls read the students a few of their favorite stories...
Then, we made a class pumpkin patch with our thumbprints...
On Tuesday we met with the Fifth Grade boys to make paper lantern Jack-O-Lanterns...
First they decorated the faces...
Then they folded the paper in half to cut the slits...
The Fifth Graders helped staple on the handles...
Finally, they added vines and leaves...
We can't wait to see our buddies again soon!
